The Area - Southern Shores

The Town of Southern Shores is located just north of Kitty Hawk and south of Duck. The Town is primarily comprised of single-family homes. They kept the vegetation dense to maintain a natural environment setting. There is very little commercial development and a beautiful stretch of beach.

Southern Shores beach accesses are private and are used only by residents and vacationers staying in the town. Visitors also have access to the Civic Association amenities which include soundside marinas, a Westside park with playground equipment, community tennis courts (if specified in property description), and oceanfront parking area at life-guarded beach.
